Tom Hardy in Venom

The Venom Teaser Trailer has Finally Been Released

Yesterday, Sony Pictures dropped the teaser poster for the upcoming Venom film, starring Tom Hardy, on the film’s social media accounts, with the caption “Tomorrow.” And today, just as everyone assumed, the company has released the much-awaited Venom teaser trailer.

“We all have our own problems,” Tom Hardy intones in the trailer. “Our own issues. Our own…demons.” “You used to be one thing,” he continues, “now you’re something else.”

The Venom teaser trailer doesn’t show us what that something else will look like, but the build-up is pretty damned intense – and we can’t wait to see what’s in store. But enough talk, you can check out the trailer for yourself below:

It goes without saying, that none of our demons are ANYTHING like his. Sony has described Eddie Brock/Venom as “one of Marvel’s most enigmatic, complex and badass characters.” And based on what we saw in the trailer, we’re inclined to agree.

Venom is directed by Ruben Fleischer from a screenplay by Scott Rosenberg & Jeff Pinkner and Kelly Marcel and Will Beall, based on the Venom: Lethal Protector and Planet of the Symbiotes story arcs that appeared in Marvel Comics. In addition to Hardy, the cast includes Michelle Williams, Riz Ahmed, Scott Haze and Reid Scott.

Venom hits cinemas 5 October 2018. You can check out the film’s social media sites on Twitter at @venommovie and Facebook at www.facebook.com/VenomMovie. Let us know what you think about the trailer in the comments.
