In a recent article, we talked about the upcoming “The Amazing Spider-Man” movie, and how promising it looked. We finally got our hands on one of the newest trailers, thanks to the good people over at Sony Pictures. After watching the trailer, our editor’s jaw was still dropped. After a few moments, he just smiled and said “it’s about time”, and walked out of the room. Just so you all know, he happens to be a really big fan of Spider-Man, and won’t shut up about his fan-boyness, to be honest.

We’re sure that you’re going to love the trailer, too. Check it out below. If the movie is as good as the trailer makes it look, then this is definitely going to be epic.

One of the things that we like the most about The Amazing Spider-Man trailer is that it shows Parker using more of his abilities outside of his costume, which is something that hasn’t really been done much in the previous movies. We also like the fact that he is using WEB-SHOOTERS! We liked the whole Spider-Man 2099 thing that they were going for in the previous movies, but we missed the web-shooters. The trailer also shows all of the major players in the movie, Andrew Garfield as Peter Parker/Spider-Man, Emma Stone as Gwen Stacy, Martin Sheen and Sally Field as Peter’s Uncle Ben and Aunt May, Dennis Leary as Gwen Stacy’s father, and Rhys Ifans as Dr. Curt Conners/The Lizard, the movie’s main baddie. We’re glad that they actually stuck to just ONE villain this time.
