Fantastic Four

Fantastic Four Teaser Trailer Released

Not gonna lie, it looks pretty damned good.

The first Fantastic Four teaser trailer has been released for Fox’s upcoming film, giving audiences their first glimpse into Chronicle director Josh Trank’s take on the classic Marvel Comics series — and as much as we’ve been bitching about the things that Trank decided to do with the movie, like the team not getting their powers from Cosmic Rays, and Johnny Storm being black — the trailer looks pretty damned good. Way better than Fox’s first attempts with the franchise back in 2005.

Strongly influenced by the Ultimate Fantastic Four version of the comic series, the new film finds Reed Richards (Miles Teller), Sue Storm (Kate Mara), Johnny Storm (Michael B. Jordan) and Ben Grimm (Jamie Bell) caught in a botched science experiment that ends up sending them to another dimension.

You can check out the trailer below:

In a recent interview, the film’s producer Simon Kinberg told Collider that the first trailer would feature an Easter egg for fans. We think that it might be the numbers 23.21.190.125, which appears on the bottom left of the screen while Susan Storm is looking at some computer monitors. If you couldn’t tell, it’s an IP address. Type the numbers into a browser and it’ll open a Wikipedia page about the fictional country ruled by the Fantastic Four’s arch-enemy Dr Doom — Latveria.

Fantastic Four is set to hit cinemas on 7 August 2015. So, what do you think about the trailer?
